On October 19, the King's University Eagles Men's soccer team took on Concordia University Thunder at The King's University soccer pitch at 2:10 pm.
The King's University celebrated two graduating Eagles 02 Noah Leggo, 03 Jules Leggo, and 18 Jes Hartley for their dedication and momentous time on the team. The King's University wishes all the best for the three Eagles in the future.
In the first half, the atmosphere was tense when both teams worked significantly hard on offense, defense, footwork, and passes. Both teams had effective communication and a tremendous amount of saves from the goalkeepers' Eagles 01 Kaleb Melnyk and Thunder 88 Isaiah Maluta. Eagles 10 Patrick Oliveria worked the field with noteworthy offense and footwork. A beautiful goal was made by Eagles 8 Pablo Luggo with an amazing assist from 10 Patrick Oliveria.
In the second half, it was heated and intense, despite the cold weather, where both teams fought hard in offense and defense with fantastic communication. Many tremendous saves from Eagles goalkeeper 01 Kaleb Melnyk. An outstanding open goal was made by Eagels 8 Pablo Luggo and the assist from 15 (17) Shyam Santosh. Thunder 2 Pedro Fraga Barbosa Vieira played a hard offense with great footwork weaving through Eagles players. Eagles 18 Jes Hartley and 03 Jules Leggo played tough defense with a strong will to gain back possession of the ball.
With high liveliness in the pitch's atmosphere, both teams did a fantastic hardworking job in today's game.
