King’s Eagles Set to Host 2025 ACAC Women’s Basketball Championship After North Division Title

The King’s Eagles are proud to host the 2025 ACAC Women’s Basketball Championship from February 28 – March 2, 2025.

After finishing first in the North Division, the Eagles have earned the right to bring the championship to Edmonton, where the top women’s teams from across the conference will battle for the ACAC title and a ticket to the 2025 CCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship in Fredericton, NB.

With the 2025 CCAA National Badminton Championship also taking place that weekend in the King’s Eagles gymnasium, women’s basketball games will be hosted at NAIT.

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased at the concession located outside the gymnasium. NAIT is a cash-free campus, only debit or credit cards will be accepted.
Each ticket is valid for two sessions (1 pm & 3 pm or 6 pm & 8 pm).  The gold medal game will be sold separately.

$5 Youth 13-17
$5 Seniors
$5 Students with valid ID

4-games per day
* Except the final day has 3 games including gold and bronze medal games.

Parking

All basketball games will be played at the NAIT gymnasium located on NAIT Campus (11762 - 106 St. Edmonton, AB)

The gym is accessible from the E parking lot. Due to a road closure on Princess Elizabeth Avenue and 109th Street, the only way to get to the E lot is by taking 118th Avenue.

Bus parking will be provided outside the arena in E lot. Please park as close to the curb as possible to refrain from blocking the road. PLease do not park and idle the bus as there is an air intake right above where the bus will be parked. 

Paid parking is in effect across the NAIT campus. Please advise any visitors travelling with the team to pay to avoid being ticketed.

Accommodation Information

Teams can stay at the Chateau Lacombe in downtown Edmonton (rate of $144 a night with breakfast included).
