Men's Soccer September 21, 2024

 

The King's University Eagles Men's soccer team took on Portage College Voyageurs at GLC Field at The King's University at 2:00 pm. 

In the first half, the atmosphere was tense and Eagles had amazing offense. After a few attempts down the left flank, Eagles #14 Jermaine Clarke scored with the assist from #15 Shyam Santosh. Eagles #11 Razak Mugarwa, #14 Jermaine Clarke, and #2 Noah Leggo all had noteworthy performances. A noteful performance on the Voyageurs side, #8 Micheal Musanza had great defensive skills and was quick to fight back with his swiftness. 

In the second half, both teams fought with much fury with a beautiful save from Voyageurs goalkeeper #1 Ben Kenny. Dangerous offensive play by #10 Patrick Oliveira drew a penalty, which was converted by #14 Clarke. Eagles #10 Patrick Olivera had amazing footwork and pressed well. Eagles #9 Linden Devries scored with an assist from #8 Pablo Lugo, and another goal by #6 Nathan Peace with the assist from #11 Razak Mugarwa. Voyageurs kept an enthusiasm up until the very end. 

With high liveliness in the pitch's atmosphere, both teams did a fantastic hardworking job in today's game.
