2023 ACAC Men's & Women's Soccer Seasons Set for Kick Off

EDMONTON, AB - The 2023 ACAC Soccer Championships are set to be the most memorable yet as Edmonton's Concordia Thunder, The King's Eagles, and NAIT Ooks join forces to host the event. Taking place at the impressive Edmonton Soccer Dome, this unique championship will be played indoors on artificial turf. The collaboration of these institutions ensures optimal playing conditions and an unforgettable experience for the competing teams. With the Edmonton Soccer Dome being the largest dome in Canada, standing 25.6 meters tall and covering an impressive 12,541 square meters, the stage is set for an electrifying showcase of soccer excellence. This championship signifies the unity and commitment within the ACAC community, and promises thrilling matches as teams compete for glory.
2022 RECAP:
At last year's championship hosted by the Lethbridge Kodiaks in Raymond, the SAIT Trojans Men's team and the Red Deer Queens Women's team emerged as the conference champions, securing their spots as the ACAC representatives at the 2022 CCAA National Championships. The Queens placed sixth at the national stage, while the Trojans finished fourth.

LOOKING AHEAD:
The upcoming season will kick off on September 8th and 9th. The Trojans will start their season at home against the Ambrose Lions, while the Red Deer Queens will head south to face the Lethbridge Kodiaks.
Looking ahead, the 2023 CCAA Men's Soccer Championship is scheduled to take place from November 8th to 11th at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario. Simultaneously, the 2023 CCAA Women's Soccer Championship will be held at Holland College in Summerside, P.E.I. As we eagerly anticipate discovering the ACAC representatives for these prestigious national championships, our focus remains on the thrilling opening week of the fall soccer season in early September.
