The Kings University Eagles Take On The Visiting Concordia Thunder
The Kings Eagles take on The Concordia Thunder in their last ACAC Regular Season match. This was a big match for the Eagles as they are looking to secure a second place position and are also celebrating their graduating players. The Eagles line up looking more determined and prepared then ever before. You can sense they are going to bring the intensity. Quick to make his mark on the board for his team is Noah Bilodeau, he makes it 1-0 just two minutes into the game. The Eagles with their instense defensive play make sure that any turnover or Concordia touch is short lived. The Eagles work hard to keep the ball moving and put forward the most intense and strategic offensive play they can. Coming close to wrapping up the first half Dorian Jacobs utlized a corner kick to take his team into halftime with a 2-0 lead. Coming out of their trailer the Eagles were amped up and ready to take on the second half. With the crazy energy from their bench and more talking on the field your Eagles were able to keep working the ball. After the numerous saved shots you could just feel that one of those attempts were going to land itself in the back of the net. And soon it did the Eagles were up by 3 half way through the second half. Tosh Hartley with an outstanding performance was able to keep any shots coming at the Eagles net out. The Eagles kept the same amount if not more energy throughout the entire game which helped them immensly as they continued to work the ball offensive and defensively. In the 90th minute Scott Hornbeck shows up with a goal to score and he does exactly that, the celebration that happened both on and off the field when he landed that goal was electrifying. Coming down to the last few seconds of added time Concordia Thunder are able to finally get one past Tosh closing off the game with a 4-1 score.
