CALGARY, ALTA., (Oct. 9, 2022) - SAIT Trojans men's soccer player Senay Haile started the day and finished it off, too.

Haile scored his team's first and eighth goal of the game in an 8-0 victory over the Medicine Hat College Rattlers in their Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) battle played at SAIT's Cohos Commons Field on Sunday afternoon.

SAIT moves to a South Division leading 7-0-1 on the season while the Rattlers fall to 0-5-3.

Also scoring for SAIT was Brock Mitchell (2), Nico Gonzalez, Kwasi Oteng, Malcolm Rektor and Tysen Chatani. Goalkeeper Marko Ilich picked up the shutout - his fifth of the season.

Mitchell and Medicine Hat's Mizuki Ozawa were named the Players of the Game.

SAIT wraps up their regular season with a pair of games - Saturday at Ambrose University and Sunday at home to the visiting Olds College Broncos.
