Wolves host season opener against Lakeland Rustler's

NWP Wolves showcased their new look today as they hosted the Lakeland Rustlers, the first game with a new logo and new colour.

NWP came out strong and excited to get the season under way. The first 2 goals were scored by the Rustlers, #10 and #11 finding the back of the net. The first half would end 2-0 in favour of Lakeland.

The Wolves came out strong in the 2nd half, however Lakeland would score 2 more before NWP put one away. #17 Kohl Osborne for Grande Prairie had a great header into the net at 59 minutes, making the game 4-1 Lakeland.

Before the match ended Lakelands #10 would score his 3rd goal of the game and #7 would score his first. Game ended 6-1.

Player of the game for the Lakeland Rustlers was #10 Gio Ciccaci and for the Grande Prairie Wolves #13 Evan Bendard.

Both teams are back in action tomorrow at 1pm at CKC field.
