The Wolves hosted the Thunder for their first game of a weekend series. Yves Mugambira scored a quick goal in the 5th minute of the game. The Wolves responded a few minutes later to tie the game at 1-1. Richard Illenseer found the back of the net from a pass by Aiden Proctor. The first half ended locked at 1-1. It was a hard fought battle for both teams. 

The start of the 2nd half didn't disappoint. Both teams were battling hard for the go ahead goal. At the 73rd minute Melvin Sim-Tuiag put the ball away to put the Thunder up 2-1. That goal occured at the 73rd minute and the Wolves could not respond. The Thunder took the first game of the weekend series 2-1.

The Mr. Mikes Player of the Games were #6 Onesphore Hamis Amanda from Concordia and #5 Noah Mohniger from Grande Prairie.

Both teams are back in action tomorrow at 2pm from CKC field.
