Wolves welcomed the Rustlers for their Home Opener

Season Home Opener for the NWP Wolves. They welcomed the Lakeland Rustlers to town for a pair of games.

The Rustlers served for 3 points to start the game before the Wolves took possession. #13 Alex Pullishy serves an ace and the Wolves are back into the game 2-3. #4 Janey Varga serves for 3 points before head coach Lauren Hale-Miller calls a timeout for the Wolves. 8-3 Lakeland at the timeout. Lakelands #8 Lana Matthews delivers a string of successful serves to bring the score to 19-6 Rustlers. NWP's #15 Lexis Ouellet delivers a huge block and brings the Wolves back to the score board. Despite the effort by the Wolves, first set goes to the Rustlers 25-12.

The Wolves looking to take a set from the Rustlers, come out strong in the 2nd. A few great aces from the Rustlers and the Wolves find themselves down 11-4 early in the set. The Wolves could not recover and lost the set 25-13. Lakeland leads 2-0.

3rd set was all Lakeland has they ended the set 25-9 and took the match 3-0.
