OLDS, Alta. - The keepers were the stars of the show at Richardson Pioneer Field on Saturday, as the Olds College Broncos and Medicine Hat College Rattlers battled to a scoreless draw.

Both Broncos keeper Kaia Galuska and Rattlers keeper Allyssa Heidel made eight saves for their respective clean sheets, while Miyeko McInnes earned Player of the Game honours for the Broncos (3-2-2), matched by Morgan Tole for the Rattlers (1-6-1).

The result keeps the Broncos in the final playoff spot in the ACAC South, two points up on the University of Alberta-Augustana Vikings with a game in hand.

There wasn't much separating the two teams in a feisty encounter, though the momentum felt like it was shifted in the Rattlers' favour by times, only to be thwarted by Galuska. At the other end, the Broncos' best chance came in the 64th minute off a corner kick that worked its way into the six-yard box, only for McInnes to tap it just wide.

The Broncos will wrap up their weekend against the Lethbridge College Kodiaks, while the Rattlers' return south will first pass through Calgary and the SAIT Trojans; both matches are scheduled for noon kickoffs.
