Friday night was senior night at NAIT as the Ooks hosted the Olds College Broncos. The two teams fought hard and delivered an entertaining game, but NAIT came out with the late-season win.


The scoring started early with a goal just over two minutes into the game from Taylor Premak to give NAIT the one-goal lead. It wasn't until past the halfway mark that the Ooks doubled their lead on the powerplay with a goal from Darby Robertson.


2-0 NAIT after one.


The game was tightly checked for the first half of the period as the defense was efficient. Cheyenne Jamieson bounced back nicely, standing tall in the second, and Kaitlyn Slator kept her strong play from the first up. It wasn't until just under 3 minutes left that NAIT added to their lead on the powerplay.


3-0 NAIT after two.


It didn't take long for NAIT to extend their lead again. This time coming from Charlieze Sallis just over 3 minutes into the third. The game slowed down after this, and shots came at a premium. NAIT held on strong for the win.


4-0 NAIT final.


Both teams look to the last weekend in getting ready for the playoffs this year.
