Women's Basketball TKU Eagles v. BC Clippers

On November 9, the King's University Eagles Women's Basketball team took on Briercrest College Clippers at The King's University gymnasium at 1:00 pm. 

In the first quarter, both teams played a tough game of tight defense. Clippers 7 Amber Fichtner played great post work, 23 Asia Wells made many fantastic shots, 12 Sydney Waind had amazing ball handling skills which made her have many great passes, and 16 Hannah Matuszewski played awesome defense. Eagles 13 Megan Aleman played a great quarter by making many remarkable passes, drives, layups, and shots overall, 19 Anneila Ayotte made many remarkable shots and played a great defensive post by making great blocks, 14 Kayla Soetart made an outstanding three-pointers along with 5 Ella Majeau. 

In the second quarter, the court was heated in a fiery play of remarkable back-and-forth pressure on offense and defense. Clippers 23 Asia Wells had a fantastic quarter making outstanding layups, 7 Amber Fichtner played great defense and made many amazing passes, and 11 Claire Daubenfeld made many marvelous shots. Eagles 13 Megan Aleman played fantastic defense and made many notable shots and 19 Aneilla Ayotte played a great quarter of amazing post work and making terrific shots.

In the third quarter, both teams played a tight quarter of back-to-back aggression on offense and defense. Clippers 7 Amber Fichtner once again had a great quarter of making great shots and layups, 15 Clarie Grislis made a remarkable three-pointer, 12 Sydney Waind made many marvelous drives and shots, and 23 also had a great quarter making many awesome plays and shots. Eagles 15 Jordanna Rivet and 14 Kayla Soetart made tremendous three-pointers. 

The fourth and final quarter was intense and heated which had the crowd sitting at the edge of their seats in much anticipation for who would gain the win. Clippers 23 Asia Wells made many great rebound shots, 8 Sienna Anderson made a fantastic three-pointer, and 9 Dori Sunderland made many notable rebound shots. Eagles 3 Jamie Bunting played remarkable defense, gaining a breakaway with a wonderful layup and 14 Kayla Soetart made many great drives, plays, and three-pointers. 

Final score Clippers 67, Eagles 78
