RDP Kings Reign Victorious over TKU Eagles

The south division first-place Red Deer Polytechnic Kings played against the north division second place King's University Eagles for the first semi-final game of the night on Friday. Both teams came to play, but only one could reign victorious and move on to tomorrow's ACAC gold medal game. The RDP Kings pulled through, winning the game 3-0 over the Eagles.


The first set between the Kings and Eagles was a close one. Both teams played very well, with both of them serving four aces each. The Kings are able to win the first set 25-22, taking a 1-0 lead.


The Eagles challenged the Kings more in the second. With the Kings making several service errors and the Eagles' strong blocks, the Eagles gained the lead over the Kings. The Kings persevered through the adversity they faced and were still able to win the set 25-23, advancing to a 2-0 lead.


In the third set, the RDP Kings were able to have a strong lead over the Eagles for the majority of the match. The Eagles had some strong attacks that generated some momentum for them. The Kings won the set 25-19 and won the game 3-0.


The players of the game were #7, Cody Boulding from the Kings, and #14, Jayden Hiebert from the Eagles.
