Eagles split weekend vs. Huskies

Eagles split weekend vs. Huskies

TKU Eagles will be looking to get out of their slump as they take on the Keyano College Huskies, in a rematch of last nights match. The Huskies took the intense match 3 sets to 1 and are looking to take another W home with them.

In the first set, the Eagles looked to have solved the defensive wall of the Huskies, as they scored in bunches early on. The Huskies rallied back, but the early lead of the Eagles was to much, as TKU took the set, 25-19.

In the second set, the Huskies looked to have a fire lit under them, as they began the set blazing. But the Eagles did not let that deter them as they battled their way back and were able to take the lead late off of back-to-back services aces, as they took the tight set, 25-22.

In the third set, the Eagles looked to finish the game off as they built an early lead over the Huskies. The Huskies continued to fight trying to stay in the game. But it was not the Huskies game, as the Eagles were able to flex their stuff, and finish off the set 25-17, and take the match in straight sets.

The Eagles will be looking to extend this winning streak as they take on the Concordia University Thunder next at home, Feb. 7 at 8pm.
