Rattler men cruise in to the next round after a 3-0 win over Olds

In Friday afternoon ACAC playoff action in Medicine Hat, The host Rattlers handed the visiting Olds Broncos a 3-0 defeat.  A tight first half was highlighted in 30th minute by a Mason Clapper header that gave the hosts a 1-0 lead that the would carry in to halftime.  In the second half, a shot by Arlind Muslui turned in to a Broncos own goal and gave the hosts a 2-0 advantage.  A foul inside the box gave Colin Kirkland a penalty kick and the big defender buried it for the Rattlers 3rd goal of the match. The action was back and forth the rest of the way as the Broncos pushed to hit the scoresheet.  When the final whistle blew, the Medicine Hat College Rattlers had done enough to move on to a Sunday afternoon match against the SAIT Trojans.  The player of the game for the Broncos was #5 Luiz Guimaraes while #13 Mason Clapper took home the honours for the Rattlers.
