Eagles Men Take On Russlers

The first half of the men's match was a battle for possession and was evenly matched for the most part. Early into the half #21 Daniel Hoffmann of the Lakeland Rustlers was able to send a shot on the back of the net and gain the lead. For the rest of the half the Rustlers trying to extend their lead and the Eagles looking for an answer, neither were able to capitalize and the half ended with a score of 1-0 for Lakeland.

The second half was another unfortunate start for the Eagles as they conceded to #10 Giordano Ciccacci on Lakeland within the first minutes of the half, trailing 2-0. As the game moved forward things for both teams got more intense, but with a free kick and 30 minutes left in the half the Eagles were able to answer with a goal of their own scored by captain #7 Antonio Krajancic. Although the game was evenly matched and well battled, the Eagles were not able to score another to tie up the game leaving the score at the end of the game 2-1 for the Lakeland Rustlers.
