The Olds College Broncos scored the equalizing goal in the second half of the match to tie the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings 1-1 in ACAC conference play at Richardson Pioneer Field at Olds College.

Olds College Men's Soccer record goes to 1-1-1 on the season. The Red Deer Polytechnic Kings go to 1-1 in ACAC conference play.

Red Deer Polytechnic jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 31st minute of the match on an own goal by the Broncos.

Both the Broncos and the Kings recorded 8 shots on goal in the first half.

The Broncos scored the first and only goal of the second half that evened the score 1-1 off of a header from Hector Ibarra with the assist from Christopher Gaytan in the 59th minute.

The Kings outshot the Broncos 13-12 in the game.

Emmanuel Mukolo was named Player of the Game for the Broncos after his stellar play in the defensive backfield. 

The Broncos face Red Deer Polytechnic next on the road at 2 pm on September 26.
