EDMONTON AB – In today's physical game the Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) Thunder took on the visiting Grand Prairie Regional College (GPRC) Wolves. The Thunder walked away with the W with a 2-0 lead.

Both team had phenomenal chances and the game could have easily been swayed the other way, had it not been for some great D and goaltending by both sides. The cross bar had been hit by both teams a few times at crucial moments – a late PK by the Thunder, a huge corner cross and the Wolves rung one off post in the dying seconds of the game. The Thunder put in the dagger with a few minutes left in regulation.

The Big Kahuna Player of the Game for the visiting Wolves was #21 Bryan Caldwell, and for the Thunder was #9 Ahmed Abubaker.
