Ooks Edge Thunder in a physical first game

Ooks Edge Thunder in a physical first game

EDMONTON AB - The men picked up right where they left off last season, as the Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) Thunder played host to the visiting NAIT Ooks. This ACAC playoff rematch was filled with excitement and bad blood. As the Ooks edge out the Thunder 1-0

The game was back and forth, with both team playing outstanding defense, barely allowing a shot off. A couple strong attempts from both teams in the attacking zone could have easily swayed the outcome of the game. The Ooks scored the lone goal late in the second and the Thunder were playing frustrated as they were unable to capitalize on what seemed to be so many close calls. The physicality began increasing and both teams had their fair share of fouls

The Big Kahuna Player of the Game for the visiting Ooks was # 15 Ayomidimeji Ayolade and for the Thunder was #5 Daniel Mujija.
