2nd Game of the Weekend Series

GPRC welcomed the Concordia Thunder for a 2nd game at CKC field on Saturday afternoon. The first half was a tough battle by both teams. The Concordia Thunder found the back of the net in the 45th minute, right before the whistle sounded to end the first half.

A second tough half played by both teams. At the 78th minute Sebastien Lobe tied the game at 1-1. Concordia's Isacc Forta answered back at the 79th minute to put the Thunder back up by 1. The Thunder went on to score 3 more quick goals by Melvin, Armann, and Isacc would score is 2nd of the game at the 90th minute. The Thunder went on to win 5-1 and sweep the Wolves in the weekend series.

Player of the Game for the Thunder was #5 Daniel Mujija and for GPRC #9 Sebastien Lobe.

We extended our Thanks and Farewell wishes to 5th Year Player Scott Fraser at the conclusion of the game. Scott was a valuable part of the GPRC Men's Soccer Team and will be missed as he moves on next year.

The Thunder will wrap up their regular season next weekend as they host Keyano College on Saturday, October 20th and NAIT on Sunday, October 21st. The Wolves travel to Edmonton to play NAIT on Saturday and to Camrose to face the Augustana Vikings on Sunday.
