Thunder Defeat the Wolves to Move Back Into Win Column

The Thunder were eager to get back into the win column after a pair of tough losses in the previous weekend leaves them fighting for a playoff spot down the stretch.  The Thunder brought an excellent team effort on Saturday afternoon's matchup against the GPRC Wolves. Goals from #11 Mas Arya and #10 Israel Olufuwa were enough to lead the Thunder to a 2-1 victory over the Wolves.

The first half was balanced as both teams provided an offensive presence however only the Wolves managed to find the back of the net at the 29th minute mark from #10 David Cruz. The Intensity grew in the second half as the Thunder tied it up with a goal from #11 Mas Arya. This goal sparked the Thunder offense as they used their momentum to add another goal in the 64th minute from #10 Israel Olufuwa to take the lead 2-1.

Concordia would hold on to lead and take the victory 2-1 over the Wolves moving them into 3rd place in the north with a 3-4-0 record.
