Edmonton – Rookies Armando Garcia (Edmonton) and Taran Kumar (Jalandar, Punjab) netted their first career goals, while veteran goalkeeper Justin Marler (Ardrossan, Alta) made five saves as the NAIT Ooks blanked the King's University Eagles 2-0 in ACAC men's soccer action on Saturday.

Third year forward Joseph Costourous (Edmonton) set up Garcia's opening tally in the 25th minute before adding a second helper on Kumar's marker in the 76th minute.

The Ooks outshot TKU 13-5, as Eagles goalkeeper Tosh Hartley made 11 saves in a losing cause.

With this win, NAIT remains in second place in the ACAC North Division improves with a record of 2-0, while The King's University falls to 0-2. The Ooks open the home portion of their season on

Saturday when they host the third place Concordia University of Edmonton Thunder (2-2) at NAIT Field beginning at 2 pm.
