In what was a hard fought and physical match, the Medicine Hat College Rattlers picked up their first win of the season with a 3-0 victory over the visiting Red Deer College Kings.  The Rattlers got goals from #12 Austin Price, #14 Connor Ismond and #8 Rodrigo Tavares who scored the third goal off of a set piece in the 86th minute.  Goal Keeper Talon Grenier was strong in the net for the Kings as he was called upon to make multiple saves.  With the win the Rattlers move their season record to 1 win and 1 tie from 2 games while RDC falls to 0-2 on the year.  The player of the game for Red Deer was #15 Tanner Steenbergen while #10 Jared Ursulan recieved the honour for the Rattlers.
