Caleb Jipp’s Unstoppable Rise: Setting ACAC Records and Inspiring the Next Generation

Edmonton, AB (April 3, 2025) – History has been made in the ACAC as Caleb Jipp of the St. Mary’s Lightning cements his place among basketball’s greats. With 1,944 career points, Jipp now holds the all-time ACAC scoring record, surpassing the previous mark of 1,909 set by NAIT Ooks’ Jason Damery (1998-2004).
A proud Calgary native, Jipp’s love for basketball began in his hometown, shaping him into the standout athlete and leader he is today. His decorated career speaks volumes:
- 2024 CCAA Men’s Basketball Player of the Year
- 2024 CCAA All-Canadian
- ACAC 3PT record holder
- Top 10 in career steals
- 3x ACAC First-Team All-Conference
- 2024 ACAC South Men’s Basketball Player of the Year
Beyond his achievements on the court, Jipp is also preparing for his next chapter, graduating from St. Mary’s University with a degree in Psychology. His leadership, work ethic, and passion for the game have left a lasting impact on the ACAC, inspiring future athletes to push the limits of what’s possible.
