Francis Dogani, Briercrest Clippers, Men's Basketball

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Francis played a pivotal role in the Clippers’ weekend sweep of the St. Mary’s Lightning, extending their winning streak to eight games.

On Friday night, he contributed 18 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. He followed that with an exceptional performance on Saturday, scoring 19 points, dishing out 8 assists, and adding 2 steals, including two clutch baskets in the final minutes to seal the victory.

These wins secured the Clippers’ spot atop the ACAC South Division and earned them the honor of hosting the ACAC Men’s Basketball Championship from February 27 to March 1 in Caronport, SK.

As one of the conference's top point guards, Francis has been a steady leader on the court, providing a calming presence and leading by example. His relentless effort, love for competition, and determination to perform at his best have been instrumental to the team’s success.

The Clippers aim to keep their momentum alive as they host Medicine Hat College this weekend.
