Spencer Rogan, Lakeland Rustlers, Men's Curling

Spencer skipped the Lakeland Mixed curling team to an ACAC gold medal this past weekend.

The team competed in six games over three days winning five out of the six. There were several instances where Spencer was looking at 3-4 points for the opposing team over the weekend and was able to either create a steal situation or hold the opposition to a minimal number.

In the gold medal game against NAIT he needed to draw to the 4-foot through a narrow port to stop NAIT from possibly scoring 5 points that end.

The finesse shot sealed the deal for the Rustlers and earned them a 8–1 victory.

Spencer is in his first year of carpentry and hails from Wainwright, Ab.
