Ambrose Lions Sweep Briercrest Clippers in Women's Volleyball Match

In a thrilling women's volleyball showdown between the Briercrest College Clippers and the Ambrose University Lions, the Lions emerged victorious in a commanding fashion, sweeping all three sets with scores of 25-23, 25-21, and 25-23, respectively.

Both teams came into the game with the same record and were hungry for the win. From the outset, both teams exhibited determination and skill, setting the stage for an intense battle on the court. The Lions showcased their offensive prowess early in the match, gaining a slight edge over the Clippers in the first set. Despite a valiant effort from the Clippers to narrow the gap, the Lions maintained their composure and secured the set with a score of 25-23. The momentum swung in favor of the Lions in the second set as they continued to display their offensive efficiency, capitalizing on scoring opportunities while applying pressure on the Clippers' defense. Despite a resilient effort from the Clippers to stage a comeback, the Lions held their ground and clinched the set with a score of 25-21. Entering the third set with a 2-0 lead, the Lions remained focused on closing out the match in dominating fashion. The Clippers, determined to rally back, fought tooth and nail to stay competitive. However, the Lions' relentless attack proved too much to handle as they maintained their lead and ultimately sealed the deal with a hard-fought 25-23 victory in the final set.

3 Kacey Dejong had a great game with 11 kills for the clippers and #8 Williow Lewington had 10 kills for the lions. Both athletes won player of the game.
