Lakeland sweeps NAIT again

The Rustlers continue to pile up wins and sit atop the ACAC standings, following another dominat performance against the NAIT Ooks.

Lakeland was coming off a straight sets wins the night before in Edmonton, with a chance to extend their win streak to 11 matches. After the Rustlers blasted through the opening set 25-7, the Ooks made a match of it, but the result felt inevitable, with the hosts winning 25-7, 25-20, 25-17

Lana Matthews was Player of the Game, posting 14 kills, 2 aces and 12 digs. Anika Dyck had 12 digs for NAIT

The Rustlers improve to 14-1 on the year and will be back in action in the Lloydminster Gymnasium on Feb. 2, when they host the NWP Wolves.
