NWP Wolves host Keyano Huskies
Game opens up with back to back aces for #11 Evangeline Zeyha. Wolves pull ahead with an 8-3 lead with another ace by Zeyha. Huskies fight to close the gap up with gaining 7 points. Big block from NWP's #12 Sarah Soderstrom, Wolves maintain a 2 point lead. #11 Zeyha comes up again with a big kill and the Wolves stay ahead by 2, score 13-11. Huskies battle back but remain behind by 2, score 17-15 for NWP. Keyano calls a timeout when score reaches 19-15 for the Wolves. Wolves take the first set 25-20
Second set opens up with point to point action. Wolves pull ahead by 3. Score is 9-6. Keyano struggles with net serves and Wolves maintain their lead. #15 Karlene Kaminski with a kill for the Huskies brings them back into the game. NWP's #10 Katie Nashim with a huge kill for the Wolves, score remains in NWP's favor 16-13. Nashim comes up again to the delight of this home crowd. Huskies call a time out score 19-14. Play returns and Wolves dominate the play. An excellent rally between teams but the Wolves get the kill and the set 25-19. Wolves lead 23-19
Third set see's Keyano come in strong to take the le--ad. Huskies pull ahead and the Wolves call a time out when the score is 12-8. Keyano's #17 Amanda Onyeukwu with an ace serve and the Huskies remain in the lead. Wolves fight back and Keyano calls a time out, score 17-14 for the Huskies. Kill from NWP's #13 Sarah Soderstrom and the Wolves trail by 3. Nice kill again by Keyano's #17. NWP's #11 Evangeline Zeyha with a block and the Wolves fight hard to take back the lead, score is 19-18 for Keyano in this tight set. Game is point for point and NWP remains one point behind. Kill from NWP's #10 Katie Nashim brings the score to 23-22 for Keyano. Keyano calls a time out. Huskies take the third set 25-22.
Fourth set and the two teams battle it out again in point for point play. Huskies pull ahead by 3, score is 9-6. Block from NWP's #11 Evangeline Zeyha and the Wolves trail by 1. Back to back kills from Keyano's #15 Karlene Kaminski and the Huskies lead by 3. Score is 12-9. NWP's #12 Sarah Soderstrom comes up again for the Wolves to tie it up 12-12. Wolves pull ahead by 2 points, score is 16-14. Huskies tie it up 16-16. NWP's #15 Natalie Walde with a block puts the Wolves ahead by 1 again. Score is point for point and the Huskies take the lead again 18-17. Nice kill from Huskies #9 Megan Polant and Keyano leads by 2. Time out is called from NWP, score 19-17. Wolves come back to tie it up 19-19. Block from Keyano's #7 Erika Box and Huskies take the lead. Huskies pull ahead by 4, Wolves fight back, score is 24-20 for the Huskies. Time out is called by Keyano, score is 24-21. Huskies take the 4th set 25-21. Taking it to a 5th set.
Fifth set and the Wolves take the lead. 4-1. Huskies tie it up 5-5 with a kill from #15 Karlene Kiminski. Wolves tie it up again 7-7, as both teams battle it out in this last set. Score is tied up again at 9-9. NWP calls a time out when Huskies take a 1 point lead. NWP's #10 Katie Nashim with the kill ties it up again. 11-11. Big kill from Huskies #17 Amanda Onyeukwu and the Huskies take another 1 point lead. #11 Evangeline Zeyha comes up huge with a kill for NWP, Keyano calls a timeout. Score is 13-13. Huskies take the lead after mistakes by the Wolves. NWP calls a timeout. Score 15-14 for Keyano. NWP ties it up 15-15 as these teams fight for the game. NWP takes the lead , Keyano calls their last time out. Huskies pull ahead by 1, score is 17-16. Crowd is on the edge of their seats and goes wild when the Wolves tie it up yet again. Score 17-17. Huskies take the one point lead again, but a net serve ties it up again for the Wolves. 18-18. Keyano kills the ball to make it 19-18, but misses a kill from NWP's #10 Katie Nashim. Keyano takes the match 21-19
