Fort McMurray, Alta. (January 20, 2024) - Lakeland College Rustlers 3 Keyano Huskies 0 (25-21, 25-12, 25-16)

The Lakeland Rustlers and Keyano Huskies Women's Volleyball team faced a similar beginning, middle, and end as they did Friday night with the Rustlers earned another straight-sets victory at the Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre Saturday afternoon.

In the opening set, the Huskies made a close game of things with the Rustlers narrowly winning out. The visiting Rustlers would then overpower their hosts in the second set and the Huskies rebounded a bit in the third set, but still ended up on the losing side of things. 

Avery Bates led the Rustlers with 11 kills while Jenay Varga had seven and Lana Matthews added five. Matthews led her side with four aces, also finishing second on her team with 10 digs. Seanna Trumier led her side with 14 digs. 

Megan Polant led the Huskies Saturday with seven kills, two ahead of teammate Karlene Kaminski and her five. Raisa Stokes had 10 digs to lead the Huskies defensively while Polant had seven on her statline.
