Rustles sweep Lions for fourth straight

Lakeland women's volleyball is impervious at home after four matches

The  Rustlers hosted the Amberose Lions on Saturday night, just after hosting the night before and winning with just 3 sets. They did not disappoint andworked through a push from a taletned Lions team, winning 25-22. In the second, Ambrose was able to stay with the Rustlers until 20-18, where the Rustlers went on a four-point run, leading to a 25-19 win.

In the third, an early serving run by Lakeland sealed the mathc, as they went on to win 25-18. Avery Bates had a spectacular match, with 17 kills, 4 blocks and 4 digs. Willow Lewington (9 kills) was the other POG.

Next for the Rustlers is their final home match of the first semester, when they host the Augustana Vikings on Nov. 25.
