Huskies beat Rattlers in an exciting five set match

As the first set of the new season got underway tonight in Medicine Hat, we saw the Huskies come in with a total of nine kills thanks to Karlene Kaminski who had a total of 14 kills over the match. For the season opener for the Medicine Hat Rattlers, we saw Anica Haberstock come in hot with a total of 13 kills in the opening of the new season. The Rattlers fell 25-17 in the first set of the year.

In the second set of the opening weekend of the season, Hailey Adams had a total of 15 digs in the opening match against the KC Huskies. For the Huskies, Raisa Stokes came in with the power to total up 17 digs in a five-set match against the Rattlers. The Medicine Hat College Rattlers raised up in the second set 25-17.

In the third set of the match, we saw Amanda Onyeukwu come in strong with a total of two solo blocks of the match for the Huskies. Rebecca Scribner for the Rattlers came in powerful with a total of three solo blocks for the match. The Huskies fell to the Rattlers 25 – 22.

In sets four and five, Erika Box comes in with a helping hand with a total of 21 assists for the match. For the home team, Olivia Jacobson came in with a total of 29 assists. The Huskies rose above the Rattlers in set four 25-20 was the final score of that set. In set five the Huskies finished strong against the Rattlers for a total of 15-12.

The Rattlers fell to the Huskies for their opening night of play three sets to two sets. The Rattlers play again at home tomorrow Saturday, November 4th. While Keyano College Head to Briercrest College.
