The Lions were able to get an early lead finding themselves up 10-5 when the Kodiaks took their first timeout. The Lions kept up the pressure widening the gap to 19-7. Ambrose closed out the set with a final score of 25-16.

Ambrose hopped out to the lead early once again in the second set but the Kodiaks went on a run and tied it at 10 a piece. Ambrose went on a streak of their own and opened the set up with a 7-point lead. Ambrose takes the second set with a score of 25-17.

Set three was taken by Ambrose as well with a final score of 25-20.

The Lions win was highlighted by #8 Willow Lewington who had 8 kills with a kill percentage of 42.9% as well as 3 solo blocks leading to points.
