On October 21, The King's University Eagles win their final home game against NWP's Wolves, with a score of 3:1. With this victory the King's Eagles are standing at 4-6-1 and the Wolves are standing at 0-10-1. 

 

The Wolves secured an early lead during the first half of the game, when #13 Kristien Mizzau scored a goal for her team. The Eagles tried to even the score, but Wolves goalie Robyn Alexandruk saved all 12 shots made by the Eagles. Eagles' Lexa Steenhof created many opportunities for her team through her impressive corner kicks. However this was not enogh for the Eagles, as the Wolves' defending line did not allow any balls to enter their net. 

The Eagles made a comeback during the game's second half. #20 Cameryn Hrycun scored the Eagles' first goal, which was assisted by #6 Lexa Steenhof. This brought the game to a tie. The Eagles took the lead when #24 Abigail Wegner scored the team's second goal (assist by #3 Lauren Palmer). The Wolves tried to reclaim the lead, but the Eagles played a stong defense during the second half. In the 81st minute #11 Kaitlyn MacIntyre scored the Eagles' third and final goal. This closed off the game with a score of 3:1 for the Eagles. 

 

The Eagles' next game will be tomorrow (Oct. 22) against NAIT in St. Albert. They currently hold a record of 4 wins, 6 losses, and 1 tie.
