Kodiaks continue to be unstoppable

Kodiaks continue to be unstoppable

Lethbridge controlled the pace of the game notching a goal early only 2 minutes in. #8 Kyra Piekema tucked it past the Lions goalie with a nice second effort to give the Kodiaks the lead. The Kodiaks kept the Lions hemmed in their end with a flurry of corner kicks and chances. Ambrose was able to holf the Kodiaks off and the half finished with a score of 1-0 for Lethbridge.

The second half started much like the first with #8 Kyra Piekema scoring her second of the day in the 48th minute. The Kodiaks continued their pressure finding twine again when #13 Nikki Stahl hit one from well outside the 18 yard box putting the Kodiaks up by 2. The Kodiaks tacked on another 3 later in the half. Which saw #6 Taylor Hrycun, #26 Aleks Bower, and #21 Rylee Worsey scoring. The Ambrose Lions fought hard but ultimately met the same end that each team has against the Kodiaks this season with a final score of 6-0 Kodiaks.
