Ooks sweep the Wolves

Wolves hosted the Ooks for the 2^nd game of the weekend series at Hansen Lincoln Field.

Tough defense by both teams the first 10 minutes. Goalie Robyn Alexandruk for the Wolves had 2 big saves to keep the score at 0-0. The Ooks had a couple great attempts with some corner kicks. A steal in the midfield by Ooks #2, Sarah Weremczuk, converts to a goal. Ooks lead 1-0. 3minutes later, #2 finds the back of the net one more time to put NAIT up 2-0. Wolves goalie comes up with some big saves late in the 1^st half.  The Ooks kept the pressure on which resulted in #7 for the Ooks scoring. 3-0 NAIT. After 45 minutes of play, the NAIT Ooks lead the Wolves 4-0. Robyn with another great save at the buzzer.

3 minutes into the 2^nd half, #17 Vanessa Carriero finds the back of the net for the Ooks, 5-0 Ooks. A young Wolves team, showed some tenacity on defense, against a tough Ooks team. #10 Payton Boyne for the Ooks found the corner of the net on a great shot from the right side. Both teams battled hard and after 90 minutes of play the game ended 9-0.
