Eagles Heat up in Matchup with Voyageurs

The Eagles host Portage Voyageurs on a rare sunny october day, with temperatures reaching upwards of 22 degrees!

The King's Eagles started the game off strong when #12 Zoe Gerein beat the Portage keeper high over the top from distance - a goal in the 6th minute (assisted by #15 Paige Colgan). The Eagles continued to play an offensive game and they attempted to make many shots. Portage College's goalie — #29 Emma Bendera — displayed her skill as a goalie as she held her ground without conceding further. The first half of the game concluded with the Eagles leading 1-0.

Both teams played a good second half of the game, and #24 Abigael Wegner managed to score a second goal for the Eagles. This goal was assisted by #20 Cameryn Hrycum. Both teams played good defense for the rest of the game. The Voyageours did not lose hope, and they played their best until the end. 

The final score of the game was 2-0 for the King's University Eagles.
