Kodiaks top Trojans for the league lead

The game began with neither team gaining an obvious advantage with back and fourth play. Both teams had great chances early but both goalies made some great saves to keep the game tied. The half finished with a score of 0-0.

The deadlock continued until the 66th minute when #10 Kenley Matischak was able to put one past the Trojans keeper with an assist from #13 Nikki Stahl. The Trojans pressed hard late in the game but the Kodiaks were able to protect their lead. #10 Kenley Matischak scored her second of the night in the 85th minute to give the Kodiaks the two goal lead. Both teams battled hard braving the fridgid temperatures and rain. The game ended with a final score of 2-0 for the Kodiaks
