Make it three wins in a row for Rustlers women's soccer after a blowout victory of the NWP Wolves.

Lakeland came into the matchup hoping to get to above .500 for the first time this season, while the Wolves were looking for their first win on the year. Four minutes into the game Darian Pluhator scored off of the feed from Megan Hockley to give the homeside the lead and added a second later in the half. In the second, the Rustlers increased the pressure and came away with the 5-0 shutout.

Hayley Fernandes was between the pipes again for Lakeland, while Kayla Mondue (who scored the third goal) was the Player of the Game. Kristein Missau earned the nod for NWP.

The two teams face off again Sunday afternoon at VLA Fields.
