NAIT Ooks Lose to Keyano Huskies 5-1.

Edmonton, AB - The game started off feeling serving as a continuation of yesterday's match up as both teams continued their stellar play from last game where they faced off for the first time this season. This points the game between two very good teams to its first goal as a corner kick from #10 Natalie Orellana assisted by #4 Harleen Singh from the Keyano Huskies was put in the net, breaking the score 1-0 in favour of her team. This goal ignites a much more fiery game between the two North division rivals with the NAIT Ooks' having a couple of chances to score a goal during a corner kick and a couple of perfect passes from the team that just barely missed the net. As the first half continues on, there were a couple of tries that the Keyano Huskies tried to kick in a goal but the great heroic saves of NAIT Ooks' goalkeeper #0 Carly Speelman, made some tremendous stops to not let it happen. As the time approaches the 45 minute mark, Keyano Huskies' #16 Selena Arima scored a goal that put them ahead 2-0 heading to the second half.

Carrying their momentum from the first half, the Keyano Huskies started the second half on fire as they add on their lead by a goal by #19 Anke Winbergen at the 46:00 minute mark. The NAIT Ooks determination to score is unrivaled as #8 Ahlam Abubaker scored a goal at the 55 minute mark of the game giving her team a boost of confidence to even up the score. #7 of the Keyano Huskies scored at the 82nd minute mark followed by another goal by their own #20 at the 87th minute of the game. Both teams exerted their best efforts as the game wound down to its end.

The players of the game are #8 Ahlam Abubaker for NAIT and #10 Natalie Orellana for Keyano.
