Trojans WSOC stay on top following win against RDP Queens

The SAIT Trojans Women's Soccer team dominated their game against the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens soccer team, winning with a score of 4-1. In the previous year, the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens emerged as the winners of the ACAC Championship, making them a force to be reckoned with in the league going into this season. 

However, this year, the Trojans were more than prepared for their shot at a rematch, with their sights set on redemption. The game against the RDP Queens was their chance to prove themselves and showcase their growth as a team with some new faces added to the squad.

From the very beginning of the game, it was evident that the Trojans meant business. Their attacking prowess was unmatched, with goals being scored at regular intervals. The team's cohesive play and strategic moves were a testament to their dedication and hard work. The Trojans showcased their offensive capabilities with a quick goal scored by #22 Olivia DePasquale in the third minute of the game. The Queens managed to keep the attacking force of the Trojans at bay for the remainder of the first half, keeping the score at 1-0 at halftime.  

The second half got off to another fiery start with a quick goal from Captain, #9 Meagan Wiebe in the 49th minute, #10 Isabel Vega in the 59th minute,followed by another by #10 Isabel Vega in the 67th minute. The RDP Queens managed to salvage some pride with a goal scored by #5 Grace Smith in the 79th minute. Overall, it was a convincing victory for the SAIT Trojans.

Overall, the Trojans' domination in this game was a result of their determination and preparation. Their desire for a rematch with the RDP Queens fueled their performance, and they left no room for doubt in their abilities.

As the season progresses, it will be interesting to see how the Trojans continue to assert their dominance and strive for greatness going in to the ACAC Championships.
