WSOC | Lethbridge Kodiaks Start the Regular Season Off 2-0

September 10, 2023: Lethbridge Kodiaks face the Olds College Broncos in an attempt to win their second game of the season 

Old's College Broncos kicked off the game strong keeping the ball in their possession. Kodiaks surpassed the Broncos leading them to the first goal of the game made by #15 Jayne Timinski. Broncos #16 made an exceptional shot at scoring a goal but was blocked by the Kodiaks at the last second leaving the crowd in awe. The half concluded with a score of 1-0 for the Kodiaks. 

Kicking off the second half, Kodiaks kept the Broncos on their side of the field with little chance of a breakthrough. Kodiaks found their way to a goal fever nearing the end of the half with a goal by #16 Malorie Hanson, a penalty shot by #13 Nikki Stahl, another goal by Nikki Stahl, and a fifth goal from #10 Kenley Matishak. Old's Broncos put up a good game, but it was no match on Kodiaks territory. The game ended with a final score of 5-0 for the Kodiaks.
