SAIT Trojans Overtake Lions

The Lions and the Trojans were battling it out on Monday night in the Lions Den. The lions fought hard against the Trojans but came up short with a 8-0 loss. 

The Lions played great defence against the Trojans in the first half and kept the score 0-0 until the first goal was scored at around the 15 minute mark. Four goals were scored in the first half by the Trojans. Both #5 Gabby Cavezza and #21 Kaylin Bensler from the Trojans had two goals. 

The lions and Trojans battled it out in the second half with #19 Rachelle O'Leary had two goals and #4 Ashley Bowman and #12 Jordyn Morris both had one. 

The final score was 8-0. 

Both teams look ahead to next week when they travel up to Three Hills for Regionals.
