EAGLES TOP WOLVES AT NORTH REGIONALS

LAC LA BICHE – Led by Lexa Steenhof's two goals, The King's University Eagles topped the Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves 4-2 at the first of two ACAC Futsal North Regionals at the Bold Center Saturday evening. Lauren Palmer and Paige Colgan also scored for the Eagles while Emma Ecclestone and Chantelle Kirk responded for the Wolves. The result brings TKU's record to 3-0 while NWP drops to 0-3. Team records will carry forward to the next regional tournament, to be held at the Bold Center February 2-4. The top three teams from the two regional tournaments will qualify for the ACAC Championships March 8-10 in Lac La Biche.
