HUSKIES BEST RUSTLERS IN NORTH REGIONAL OPENER

LAC LA BICHE – The Keyano College Huskies rode Nathalie Andersson's two goals to a 6-4 victory over the Lakeland College Rustlers at the ACAC North Regional at the Bold Center Friday night. Harleen Singh, Natalie Orellana, Nicole Gauvin and Rofyda Hkaleel also scored for the Huskies while Kayla Mondue, Megan Hockley, Gracey Smithson and Darian Pluhator responded for the Rustlers. The result puts Keyano at 1-0 and Lakeland at 0-1. Team records will carry forward to the next regional tournament, to be held at the Bold Center February 2-4. The top three teams from the two regional tournaments will qualify for the ACAC Championships March 8-10 in Lac La Biche.
