TKU TKOs PORTAGE AT NORTH REGIONAL

LAC LA BICHE – Zoe Gerien scored three goals and Lexa Steenhof added to others, leading The King's University Eagles to a 7-0 victory over the Portage College Voyageurs at the ACAC Futsal North Regional at the Bold Center Friday night. Paige Colgan and Chasity Pete also scored for the Eagles. The result puts the Eagles at 1-0 and the Voyageurs at 0-1. Team records will carry forward to the next regional tournament, to be held at the Bold Center February 2-4. The top three teams from the two regional tournaments will qualify for the ACAC Championships March 8-10 in Lac La Biche.
