HUSKIES BLANK WOLVES AT FUTSAL NORTH REGIONALS

LAC LA BICHE – Led by Natalie Orellana's three goals, the Keyano College Huskies triumphed over the Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves 8-0 at the first of two ACAC Futsal North Regionals at the Bold Center Saturday morning. Kiera Thomas, with two, Harleen Singh, Nicole Gauvin and Khloe Webber also scored for the Huskies. The result brings Keyano's record to 2-0 while the Wolves fall to 0-2. Team records will carry forward to the next regional tournament, to be held at the Bold Center February 2-4. The top three teams from the two regional tournaments will qualify for the ACAC Championships March 8-10 in Lac La Biche.
