OOKS BITTEN BY HUSKIES AT NORTH REGIONALS

LAC LA BICHE – Natalie Orellan netted two goals and Marissa Mestre and Nathalie Andersson added singles, leading the Keyano College Huskies to a 4-1 victory over the NAIT Ooks at the ACAC Futsal North Regional at the Bold Center Sunday morning. Sasha Pietramala scored the lone goal for the Ooks. The result brings Keyano's record to 4-0 while NAIT drops to 2-2. Team records will carry forward to the next regional tournament, to be held at the Bold Center February 2-4. The top three teams from the two regional tournaments will qualify for the ACAC Championships March 8-10 in Lac La Biche.
