In game one of a three game weekend set, the visiting Lakeland College Rustlers beat the Medicine Hat College Rattlers 9-0.  The Rustlers opened the scoring quickly and jumped out to a 3-0 lead by the end of the first.  A closer second period had the Rustlers up by 4.  Lakeland exploded for 5 goals in the third with the final one coming with just 22 seconds left on the clock.  At the buzzer it was 9-0 Lakeland.  The Rustlers were led on offensively by Asha Petrie and Janay Williams who each had two goals and a helper.  Mackenzie Dojahn stopped all 20 shots she faced for the shutout.  Despite the score, Rattlers goaltender Jessika Charron had a strong game between the pipes.  The two teams are at it again tomorrow night at 7:45 at the Moose Recreation Centre.  

With the win the Rustlers move to 17-4-0 on the season while the Rattlers fall to 0-21-0.
