SAIT Trojans 4 at Medicine Hat College 0

Medicine Hat, AB - It was a Sunday evening of hockey action at the Moose Arena in Medicine Hat. It was a scoreless first period. Haley Whelen faced 16 shots on the net for the home team, and Chelsea West of the SAIT Trojans faced 3 shots on the net. The final shots on goal were 16-3 favouring SAIT after the first period.

During the second period, Esther Boelema and Emma McKinnon each had a goal putting the Trojans up by two at the end of the second. The Rattlers tried their best to put one on the board but ended up empty. The score after two was 2-0 for the Trojans, with shots on goal being 36-8 for the Trojans.

It was a busy third period for both teams with the Rattlers on the penalty kill for eight minutes during the 20 minutes. The Trojans extended the lead with goals scored at 3.05 and 39.5 seconds left in the period. Esther Boelema and Sage Barstow scored for the away team. The final score was 4-0, with the shots on goal being 58-11.

The Rattlers look towards Friday, December 1st when they play at Olds College in a rescheduled game to close out the first semester.
